We have a long standing reputation for multivariate data analysis, most recently the application of support vector machines (SVMs) and associated validation methods to recognise diagnostic patterns in biomedicine, food analysis and basic science. Published examples of recent work can be found below.

In an effort to share best practice we’ve recently wrapped up our pattern recognition know-how into a powerful and easy to use R package called classyfire. Thanks to some neat optimisation and parallelisation it’s pretty quick too.
