Galaxy-based Integrated Omics (GIO) is a curated collection of new and pre-existing open source tools brought together to allow the integration of different types of omic data through an easy to use web-based interface.
In particular, GIO currently provided analysis pipelines for proteomics informed by transriptomics (PIT) and are currently working to add support for designing targeted proteomics experiments.

GIO is a collaboration with David Matthew’s group at the University of Bristol. Development of the GIO prototype was funded by BBSRC TRDF grant BB/K016075/1.
